The Ethereum India Fellowship is an initiative by Devfolio to upskill Web2 developers and enable them to make the transition to Web3 using Ethereum, while providing a comprehensive overview of the ecosytem.
The target audience for the program is talented Web2 developers with beginner-level or zero exposure to development in Ethereum.
The pilot edition saw 400+ developers apply with 2.5% of them making it through the rigorous selection process to be paired off with the 4 mentors for the fellowship.
Mentors for the first cohort were:
- Aditya Asgaonkar: Blockchain Researcher, Ethereum Foundation
- Lakshman Sankar: Blockchain Researcher, Ethereum Foundation
- Vaibhav Chellani: Independent researcher, Ex-Lead Blockchain Engineer (Matic Network)
- Arpit Agarwal: Ex-Technical Lead (Matic Network)
